das ist normal dass der so langsam ist, der 7000er ist eher ein Foto Drucker. Schnell war der noch nie, ich kann mich an 40 Sekunden für ein Excel Blatt erinnern.

Was man mal machen kann ist den Encoder Streifen zu reinigen, das ist das Platsikband das Im Drucker gespannt ist, wenn er die Strichmarkierungen nicht mehr exakt erkennen kann, dann könnte das ein Grund sein warum er langsamer druckt. Das ist aber ein generelles Problem und tritt eher bei HP auf. Ich weiss nicht ob das bei Canon auch solche Auswirkungen zeigen kann. Canons kommen dann eher total aus dem Tritt.

mein BJC 7000 druckt zwar schön schwarz aber er braucht ewig lange dazu. Der Druckkopf fährt bei einem gewöhnlichen Word-Textausdruck (Windows 2000) nur etwa alle 20 sec einmal quer über das Papier.

Warum geht das so langsam ? Könnte es sein, daß die Patrone vielleicht ziemlich leer sein könnte und ggf. vor jedem neuen Anlauf erst "Tinte sammeln" muß ?
