Der Drucker ist von Epson auf pigmentierte Tinte ausgelegt. Wenn Deine Tinte nicht so aussieht wie im Anleitungsbild dann ist das keine pigmentierte Tinte. Soll aber nicht heissen dass es mit anderen Tintentypen nicht auch geht. Bei pigmentierter Tinte sieht man bei CMY auf einen Plastikklotz in der Spritze;=) - undurchsichtig. Ist es transparent dann ist es dye Tinte. Dye gibt es auch bei BK - da sieht man den Unterschied nur nicht in der Spritze sondern erst auf dem Papier.

Mach mal die alten Ausdrucke nass, wenn es verschmiert, typisch Dye Tinte - so kann man das auch mit dem BK testen.

Passende Tinte hätten wir aber auch;=)

die Anleitung sieht ja etwas kompliziert aus. Spritzen und Tinte hab ich ja schon, mir fehlen nur noch diese Spritzenadapter zum aufstecken. Kann ich da auch eine Nadel nehmen? Von meinem Tintenlieferanten (Arici Ink) habe ich nur Spritzen und Nadeln bekommen. Geht das damit auch?

In der Anleitung ist auf Seite 11 ein gelber Tintentank abgebildet, das sah bei mir ganz anders aus. Meine gelbe Tinte ist nicht so leuchtend gelb. Die Arici Tinte ist irgendwie transparenter, schon gelb aber man kann eben hindurch sehen.

Es hat ja schon gedruckt und es sah auch eindeutig gelb auf dem Papier aus. Nur halt mit ganz vielen Streifen.

wenn es jetzt wieder druckt dann ist es doch zuerstmal OK. Die Kiste hat das Experiment überlebt.

Wenn ein Tank leer ist, dann kannst Du ja das hier mal probieren:

Tinte ist doch sicher noch vorhanden. Und selbst wenn die nicht passt - dann wird er das auch noch ein zweites mal überleben.

Aber das geht nur wenn man einen Resetter hat. Es sei den Du machts folgendes:

Wenn der Drucker anzeigt dass ein Tank wenig Tinte hat - also dieser nocht NICHT leer ist. Dann kann nach obiger Methode den Tank refillen. Dazu muss aber der Rest an Original Tinte raus ! - wenn der Refillvorgang richtig gemacht wird - dann kann man damit noch eine Weile drucken. Ich hab das allerdings noch nicht auspobiert ob man da eine ganze Füllung druchlassen kann.

Der Tank hat neben dem Chip auch einen Tintensensor. Und erst wenn dieser keine Tinte mehr erkennt - dann kommt der Drucker zum Schluss dass der Tank leer ist. In dieser Situation kann man dann nur mit einem Resetter weitermachen.

Also Resttinte absuagen und dann refillen geht - wenn das praktikabel ist braucht man nur noch den passenden Resetter. Aber den haben wir ja auch. Bei einem Original Tank kann man den Tank als Fehlerquelle wenigstens ausschliessen.
