Kann es sein, dass der Füllstand der Patrone Nr. 27/28 im Treiber hinterlegt wird?

Ich habe folgendes Problem:
Der Drucker 3550 ist an PC 1 angeschlossen. Patrone wird befüllt und resetet. Füllstandanzeige ist wieder voll.

Jetzt schliesse ich den Drucker an PC 2 an und ich bekomme einen alten Füllstand gezeigt. Nämlich den Füllstand, den die Patrone bei letzten Anschluß an diesem PC hatte.

Wie ist das möglich und was kann man tun?
