ich kennen den alten Pro nur aus der Literatur;=) Aber bei allen Epson Druckern benötigt man dieses Justageprogramm. Wobei man natuerlich auch ohne justieren drucken kann;=) Die Frage ist dann aber wie gross die Fehler sind. Mit etwas probieren wird man das schon hinbekommen...

Zu den Köpfen, du kannst keinen aktuellen Drucker kaufen der noch so einen alten Kopf drinnen hat. Bei einigen neueren Modellen ist mit laut Service Handbuch auch mal der Hiwneis aufgefallen dass ein Wechsel nicht möglich ist, da steht naemlich drinnen dass der Kopf über den CHIP im Kopf personalisiert ist und obwohl bauglich zwischen verschiedenen Modellen nicht gewechselt werden kann.

Und warum einen neuen Drucker kaufen wenn Du auch den alten Kopf als Ersatzteil bekommst?

ich besitze seit kurzem einen alten EpsonStylusPro (A3), der nicht schwarz drucken möchte : gebraucht bekommen ... möglicherweise war schwarz schon defekt
Ich habe 'zig Mal gereinigt, mit einer Spritze vom Einstechdom aus Farbe und Reiniger durch'gepumpt', sowie den Schlitten ausgebaut (Flachbandkabel drangelassen) und die Unterseite des schwarzen Druckkopfes >1Tag in Reiniger (lag einem Nachfüllpack bei) einweichen lassen. Danach und dazwischen immer wieder x-mal die Reinigungsfunktion probiert ... leider erfolglos.
Farbig druckt er einwandfrei.

Weiß jemand ob die Druckköpfe der Pro-Drucker mit denen der A4 gleich sind ? Die Patronen sind es ja.
Ich habe (hier) gelesen, daß man bei neueren Epson-Druckern beim Wechseln der Köpfe diese mittels spezieller Software einkalibrieren muß - ist das auch bei diesen alten Modellen notwendig ?
Die A4-Modelle erhält man ja bei eBay bereits unter ¤10,- ... der Tausch der Köpfe geht bei diesen Modellen ja recht einfach ...

Ich würde den Drucker gerne weiterverwenden, da günstig im Verbrauchsmaterial und vor allem A3+ fähig (die maximalen 720dpi reichen mir ohne Ende aus).
