OK - auspacken ausprobieren und ggf. gleich wieder wegstecken.

Wenn nicht, dann die Tanks ganz normal leer drucken und wenn er leer ist, refillen. Dannach etwas mehr drucken dass die Tinte komplett in den Kopf kommt. Mehr ist nicht zu beachten, ausser dass man regelmässig drucken sollte.

Denn so was schönes zum Nachfüllen gab es lang nicht mehr :D

Sollte man denn bei dem 5840CN sich direkt leere Patronen besorgen und mit Ihrer Tinte von Anfang an drucken, oder kann man getrost erst den Satz leerdrucken?

Vertragen sich die Tinten :?:

Mhm, dann werd ich mir die Sache mal durch den Kopf gehen lassen!

Also gedruckt wird bei mir 90% SW und ab und an mal nen Cover auf Fotopapier und farbige Internetseiten, dass hat der Lex schon ganz nett bewältigt.

Naja dann werd ich mal ncoh 1-3 mal :D drüber schlafen!

der Lexmark ist im Unterhalt teuer aber das wirst Du ja schon gemerkt haben. Der Brother kann da punkten. Aber die Druckqualität ist beim Lexmark besser. Der Brother ist, wie alle Geräte mit dem LC900 System nicht auf dem Stand der Zeit. Das System hat viele Vorteile aber es mangelt etwas an Druckqualität, und der Kopf ist halt wie bei allen Geräten fest eingebaut. Ist der Kopf futsch dann ist das Gerät futsch - so wie bei Epson.

Wenn man davon absieht und nicht gerade super Druckqualität will dann ist der Brother sicher die bessere Wahl. Die Tanks sind vorallem bei CMY wesentlich grösser als die Tricolor von Lexmark. Der Brother hat schliesslich Flüssigtintentanks.

Oder beide verkaufen;=) Und ein Canon kaufen MP700 Serie Gerät kaufen. Das ist billig im Unterhalt und man hat eine sehr hohe Funktionalität sowie super Druckqualität.
