Das mit RAW statt JPG muss ich auch mal testen...hab mir bisher gedacht dass ein mitgelieferter RAW-konverter auch nichts anderes macht als die kamera direkt, aber eventuell stimmt das nicht ... ob man RAW auch direkt im profiler verwenden kann...?

Meine hauptsächlichen "probleme" sind
1. manchmal etwas zu warme oder zu kalte farben. Das wird vermutlich mit der beleuchtung und dem weißabgleich zusammen hängen.
2. manchmal eine art grauschleier, oder zu weiche ergebnisse wo die brillianz fehlt. Gründe vermutlich s.o.
Außerdem wird das möglichst genaue angleichen des gitters wichtig sein - wie du schon sagst, der fummeligste teil ..

PS: Da ich einen epson R285 aus der mottenkiste geholt habe und mit pigmenttinte gefüllt habe, benutze ich colymp derzeit oft.
Du kannst ja mal deine erfahrungen ins colymp forum schreiben, da poste ich bisher fast alleine ... es muss doch noch ein paar leute geben die das nutzen und gut finden .. und die sich austauschen und ihren workflow verbessern wollen ..

also ich habe eine Nikon d5100. Dort stelle ich auf M (Vollmanuell). Dann erstelle ich einen manuellen Weißabgleich (weißes Papier mit den gleichen Einst. knipsen).
Was die Beleuchtung angeht so warte auf leicht bewölktes Wetter und lege die Ausdrucke zum knipsen ins Tageslicht.
Ich lasse für ein Profil zwei oder drei Bilder einlesen und von Colymp zusammenrechnen. Ich speichere in RAW, lasse diese Bilder dann aber vom Nikonprogramm in JPG wandeln.

Letztens habe ich das erst wieder für unseren neuen Epson WF-3520 gemacht. Lediglich das Auflegen des Rasters auf den Chart finde ich etwas fummelig. Aber wenn man bedenkt daß man mit einem manuellen Abtaster jedes Feld einzeln einlesen müßte ist man so immer noch um etliches schneller.
Die Ergebnisse finde ich völlig in Ordnung. Deutlich besser als das was ich vorher vom Internet-Dienstleister bekommen habe.
