OT - Seagate Festplatten

Hallo,

hatte diese Woche 2 Fälle wo sich Seagte Platten von einem Tag auf den anderen nicht mehr ansprechen liessen.

Bei der Barracuda Serie, 3.5 Zoll 7200.11 hat Segate wohl eine fehlerhafte Firmware auf der Platte. Sind wohl alles SATA Platten. Die Platten werden nach dem Neustart nicht mehr vom Bios erkannt, und lassen sich auch danach nicht mehr flaschen. Wer das also nicht rechtzeitig macht - der braucht ne vorhandene Datensicherung und ne neue Platte. Betroffen sind NS-Raid Platten als auch die normalen A-Modelle.

Zum Flashen muss man sich ein Boot-CD brennen.
